An English tune form the Thomas Hardy manuscripts - with chords added by me.

Like many English hornpipes, normally played undotted.

I heard the tune for the first time in a session at the Bampton (Devon, England) Folk Festival last Sunday. It was played by a father and daughter duo. There were dozens of musicians present, but very few of them seemed to know it, and only a few were tentatively joining in.

Apropriately, the daughter’s name was Laura!
