I know not much of this tune, but i’ve heard it from a track of ‘tis what it is’ with Dave Munnelly and Mick Conneely, followed by Temple Hill / Sporting Paddy
This tune is in 2 sharps (F# and C#). You could consider it E Dorian, but Dave Munnellly voices it in D, starting each 4 bar phrase on an A chord, rather than an Em. Both work. Regardless, the the Cs are all C#s. Otherwise the transcription is all right.
Does anyone know if Dave or Mick composed it? The only place I can find it is on their recording "’Tis What it Is".
Neither of them, Máirtín O’Connor composed it. It can also be found on ‘The Road West’, 13rd track to the left. https://thesession.org/recordings/1519
