The North Wind has been added to 44 tunebooks.
This is another of my tunes and it was written during the foul weather
we had here earlier this year. The rolls on E in the first half should if
possible sound like ‘Brrrrrh’ if you see what I mean - a kind of shiver.
The tempo should be on brisk side. Fiddle players could try doing the scalic bits in one bow, a kind of ‘Whoosh’ of cold air.
Guitarists should have fun working out what the chords should be!
