Mazurka D’Embrault

This is a French* mazurka. It’s one of my favourite tunes on the album "Musique Artisanale" by Duo Lagrange/Rutkowski, where I transcribed it from. You can listen to them playing it on myspace:

You might call that change from C minor to C major somewhat corny… but then again, it almost always achieves the desired effect. :-D

* Oops!

I’m not quite sure in which key it’s actually meant to be played though. Pipes and accordion… you can never know! After a bit of research, I’ve found versions in G and in A as well.
And, more important, that the composer is Thierry Mirebeau.

However, here’s a version in G by French/English group Pierrot:

The setting is basically the same here, just transposed (and kind of straighter). I’ve added it anyway.
If only for the more familiar key(s).
