Third in the Blind Man Reel set
Here’s the third tune in the Blind Man Reel set asked for by Gael Force — courtesy of Conan, who has also posted the second tune in the set (also a Gan Ainm, in A dorian at https://thesession.org/tunes/1297), so I’m afraid we’ve done a bit of cheat to get them both in on the same day, sorry, Jeremy. :)
Oh, I forgot to say…the liner notes on "Time on Our Hands" (Siobhan Peoples and box player Murty Ryan) say that this tune to them strongly resembles the Forfar Hunt.
As said by The Bumblebees - they learnt it off Box player Seamus Meehan
Well done, Beebs! :) Thanks for the heads up, Dowsie.

My transcription of this tune from Sé, Lúnasa (they call it Dunrobin Castle)

Second tune on this vid
A Scottish Tune
As Dunrobin Castle is a famous castle in the north of Scotland, it seems that the original tune is coming from there and as a bapipe tune.
It can be listened played by the Tannahil Weavers in 1976 here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhOPdJuLpH8
The notes are not exactly the same as the high B is not available on the great Highlands Bagpipes.
Jimmy’s Return, X:7
Pipe version from Tannahill Weavers Donald MacLean’s Farewell To Oban/ Dunrobin Castle @1:39 / The Wise Maid/Iain’s Jig
