A. F. Irving

This is a J. Scott Skinner strathspey that I learned from the playing of Donald MacLellan on his Dusky Meadow CD. He is the Cape Breton fiddler who composed the popular strathspey Dusky Meadow. This particular tune here, (named after A. F. Irving, who A. F. Irving was is unknown to me) is quite tricky with four sixteenth-note blitzes in a row, and shows significant skill if you can play the tricky parts of this tune well.
