written as a tribute to Emile Vacher, who created the style "musette" in the 1920-30es. Vacher used to play on a button box with stradella basses, a bit like Jimmy Shand - but his was tuned GCB, not BCC#. There’s a nice recording of him playing Mrs McLeod…
