Great little tune from the Athole Collection. The notes say that it was originally published in 4 collections (1 of the 4, I reckon) by one Daniel Dow of Perthshire c1773. The book states that Dow lived from 1732-1783, making this one an old one even if he composed it himself. It has that extra layer of mold where newer tunes that sound creepy fall short me thinks.
If you play the B part like this:
|:B|eg~(fe) {^c}dBBg|fdAd {G}FDDB|eg~(fe) {^c}dBBg|~fdFA BEE:|
Even more creepiness and coolness can be released.
