Barnsley Abacus

A "Pseudo"-Bulgarian 7/8 tune from the feather of Stefan Hannigan, recorded by Sin É on their first recording and by Colman Connolly, Franziska Urton & Tobias Kurig on "BLUE". This transcription here is leaning more on the BLUE take. Sin É has some more funny ditties in the 3rd part including a accentuated chromatic run downwards, that I believe, isn’t everybody’s kattle of fish . However, basically a nice gripping tune! It should be noted, that BLUE play it on Low Whistles, then actually appearing in the key of G-minor:
