Madam If You Please
This hornpipe is notated from the way Julia and Billy Clifford play it on the album ‘The Star of Munster Trio’ https://thesession.org/recordings/1427 . They learned it from Paddy Moloney of Devon Road with whom they played in Cricklewood, London. It can also be found in O’Neill’s Dance Music of Ireland (1907) and under the title "The Rambles of Joe Burke" in the book ‘300 Tunes from Mike Rafferty’ (2006); in the index of that book, it states "Joe Burke used to play this. It is also called "Girl of the Golden Tresses"."
