"Danny Green’s Polka"

From the Cliffords / Murphys of Sliabh Luachra ~

The A-part shares some similarities with:
"John Egan’s" / "The Scartaglen"

I did the usual searches, but didn’t find this on site. That doesn’t mean it isn’t. Let me know if you manage to stumble across what I might have missed. 😀

Setting #3: Darby’s Cross

is from the fiddle and flute of Julia and Billy Clifford (1982). While the A part is very much the same as in Danny Green’s, the B part features some differences (most notably going up in bars 11 and 12 instead of down). But (and as it’s from the Cliffords as well) I think it’s reasonable to assume that it’s just another version of the same tune. So I’ve added "Darby’s Cross" as an alternative tune title; I hope that’s okay.

Re: Setting X3 Darby Cross

X3 is setting of John Clifford’s Polka https://thesession.org/tunes/916. There, Darby Cross is an alternative name. It also shows Danny Green as an alternative but I feel these are distinct tunes even if related.
