Sean McGlynn’s Mazurka

This is a great sprawling tune, with four parts & composed by
Eugene O’Donnell
It is on M. Moloney / E. O’Donnell: “Uncommon Bonds”
Playing Order ABCD ABCD A (Finish with part A)
I found it transcribed by Stephan Steiner
The third part is a bit tricky, and for Mandolin/Banjo type GDAE instruments, I found that the trick is to shift up to the fifth position and it’s not too difficult

Where the numbers under the abc denote the string used - it really does avoid having to thrash around the fingerboard like a demented spider, and gives a nice flow to the tune, so give it a try - it’s one of my favourite tunes and I’ve added it to celebrate the addition of the Mazurka to the session
Hope you enjoy it !

Sean McGlynn’s Mazurka

Just noticed that my impromtu attempt at fingering by numbers has gone a bit astray during the process - I lined them up during input but they have bunched up a bit - hope they might still be of help!

Error

8 years later I noticed it should read -
Third part - third position - ie at 5th fret
Cheers
