Eddie Tighe’s

This is from Celtic Thunder’s Hard New York Days album. I’ve always loved the tune, but have no idea where it came from. I’ve never seen it in any collections, and never heard another recording of it. I take that back, I just saw it listed in the index of Paddy O’Brien’s collection, so I guess that’s finally going on my wish list! If anyone has any ideas about where it came from I’d much appreciate it.
