This is the last jig in a set of compositions regularly played by the man who wrote them, Brendan Tonra (R.I.P.).

Brendan liked to play all 4 tunes as a set, but there was one occasion when he would not. His good friend, Melodeon player Jack Conroy, would always complain that “Four tunes is too long!”. Ever the gentleman, Brendan would accomodate his friend’s wish and play only three of the tunes…
