The Wind And Rain jig

On Altan’s album Local Ground, after the song “The Wind and Rain”.
The sessionable key (and probably the original key) is Dmix but it appears on the album in Amix, meaning that the fiddles can play in octaves but the high fiddle is missing the top D out. See X:2 and X:3

This is just X:2 transposed up an octave with a few tweaks (bars B1 and B5, plus B3 and B4) mostly just to make it a bit easier to play along with the Altan setting for instruments that won’t go below D. If you prefer, you could retain the high d’, as X:2 would be if you just did a straightforward transposition of it, but it might easier for some of us to play it as fudged here.
