The Tatnuck Magnet

David Doocey’s tune, transcribed off of his album *Changing Time*.
Great reel to follow The Broken Pledge. 🙂

The Tatnuck Magnet

Yes, it’s a nice tune which has grown on me. I find myself playing a slightly simplified version of it which suits me better (I’m playing it on mandolin). How do you play it on your whistle, bdh? Something like this, I guess:

| B3 d dBAG | E3 c cBGE | D3 E DEGA | B2 cB AGEG |

I play it as I’ve transcribed it, except transposing the B, up an octave. Doocey plays it REALLY fast on the album — I have to slow it down by about 15-20% to play along properly!
