Recorded in 1933 by Edward Meehan’s Rosaleen Orchestra, Meehan recorded a few flute duets with John McKenna and this band recording features in all likelihood another McKenna musical partner, fiddler James Morrison, who was no stranger to tunes that headed up the neck like this one. This wonderful old side may be heard on the CD OldTime Records Vol. 2, with Meehan playing his other instrument, the accordion.
