Two comments

Finbarr Dwyer’s Teelin Reel

Fantastically beautiful tune, but not for the faint-hearted, given the amount of sharps involved. Other than the name, this reel in Bmix bears no relation, I don’t think, to the highlands etc. already in the database.

It’s on the Star of Ireland LP, though it’s not among those on it that are specifically mentioned in the notes as being Finbarr’s own compositions.

This tune sits quite well on the accordion down a tone to Amix (I wish I’d noticed that years ago…), like this:
