Billy Ballantine’s Mosstrooper’s Polka

A transcription of the skeleton of the tune from "Good humour for the rest of the night", the latest Voice of the People CD of Northumbrian dance music. The recordings were made in the midd fifties. Billy Ballantine was a picolo player with a wide repertoire. He played very fast and rolled or tuned pretty much every note. I have tried to pick the dance tune out of the ornaments.
