Apples In Winter

I first found this tune while title searching R. M. O’Shaughnessy’s (AKA Levey) book: The First Collection of "Dance Music of Ireland" first published c. 1858. I expected to find a version of the more popular jig by the same title and found this reel instead. It is annotated to be played "Quick Time". I believe it was published at a later date by Kerr in "Merry Melodies" (c. 1880s). Would anyone be familiar with this reel under another name?

Re: Winter Apples

This tune was recorded by Jackie Roche & Timmy Cronin (available on the web). Their version has a resemblance to the notation here. You can easily see how the versions are related.
