The flute player of the band, Juan Almaraz, learned it from the english flute player Tom Oakes in Amsterdam

Called ‘The Topiarist’

Hey there. This is a composition of mine called ‘The Topiarist’ composed for the late Joe Scurfield and recorded with my band The Auvo Quartet on our debut album (released 2006) The tune was composed and recorded in C major but I like the setting in A.
