One of Carolan’s livelier tunes played occasionally in Bristol sessions. Should be taken at a jig speed, but not too fast. This is the unornamented version which may be more suited for some instruments. Here is an ornamented version from O’Neill:
F|FEF D2F|FEF DAG|FED CEG|FED CDE|
|FEF G^VG|A^GA d2e|ff/e/d edc|dd/c/A cAG|
|AA/G/F GFE|FF/E/D EDC|DA,^C DFE|D3 D2||
||(D//E//F//G//)|AGF (((3G/F/E/)DC)|cCC Cde|fed ed^c|
dDD D(E//F//G//A//B//^c//d//e//)|fed ed^c|AGF GFE|gfe fed|FED EDC|
|ff/f/f gg/g/g|aa/a/a bag|fed ed^c|d3 d2||
Some of the runs in the B part may have to be adapted to suit some instruments, but are good fiddle writing.

A great setting in E minor.
