Learned this from Kevin Rowsome at a piping workshop. I think it’s in O’Neill’s.

Liam O’Flynn plays it as a set with “The Tailor’s Twist” on Planxty’s “The Woman I Loved So Well” album, but it doesn’t show up under that name in the Spotify tune list for the album. I heard someone say that it’s named as the title tune of the album, but I haven’t been able to verify this.

I said “plays”, because Liam lives on through his wonderful music. Notice his lovely, spare regulator playing on this track.

Corney drew was the name of a sliabh luachra music teacher who would have been active around the mid to late 1800s. This tune can also be found in the james goodman manuscripts under the name fitzgeralds hornpipe
