Away With The Faeries

From the album ‘From the chest’ (1999), by Kevin O’Connor.

“Away with the faeries”

… is a phrase meaning one is daydreaming or ‘not all there’ or lost in thought or a little a bit crazy. So, the title is not a command for the Good People to depart. I wouldn’t want them to be thinking I was ordering them around; knowing the meaning of the phrase makes me much more comfortable playing the tune - but then, I generally am away with the faeries! :)
