Lament For The Dead Of The North

Davy Spillane’s solo lament for Low F whistle is a haunting piece used in the film "Gangs of New York." In transcribing it, I have been as faithful as possible to the notes and ornaments used but have not tried to be accurate in timing and length of notes, the bars just representing phrases in the piece, nothing more. Please note that Js for rising slides do not show up in the music but >s which I’ve used for falling slides do. I welcome any improvement to note values etc. As with any slow air, it needs to be understood in the context of listening to the piece whihc can be found on Spotify here. https://play.spotify.com/track/5Pmf959eHuAjx2h9yPw3hv
