Reign Of Love march

This is a tune by Jeremiah McLane

This tune was written by Keith Murphy and published in his Black Isle Music II. All music copyrighted 2012 Keith Murphy/Black Isle Music, BMI. Keith says in his notes “Reign of Love (Rain of Love) - When our friends Eliot and Sarah Hiebert Burch were married in Philadelphia, we were invited to play for the event. I composed this tune somewhat in the Breton style as Sarah had requested. The event was showered in rain and love.”

Jeremiah Mc Lane has written many wonderful tunes, has his own tune book and for nearly 20 years was bandmates with Keith and Becky Tracy.

Hey Chris, thanks for the correction. I’m glad to know who the actual composer is. I’m also now curious about the piece of sheet music that was given to me that lists Jeremiah as the composer. I suppose I’ll have to check my sources more carefully next time.

This is the key that I and everyone I know use, and I think this setting is at least very close to the one in Keith’s book (I just moved and my copy of the book is still in a box somewhere, so I can’t actually check against it).

Also, I would say this is a march rather than a reel - tried to provide that and the provenance as an edit.
