Ceann Dubh Dileas
Not a jig, but a lovely old air, #516 in the Goodman Manuscripts ("Tunes of the Munster Pipers"). Goodman (or his editors) translate the title to English as "My Dark-haired Darling". Played very slow, it has a dark and haunting quality that sounds really good on flat pipes and I suspect on concert-pitch pipes, fiddles, and whistles as well. A good tune to practice your half-holed C and F naturals on.
