The Hurling Boys

This tune – a set dance – appears in O’Neill’s Dance Music of Ireland: 1001 Gems (1907), p. 165, no. 963 and, in a very similar version, in The Petrie Collection of Irish Music, part II, ed. Charles Villiers Stanford (1905), p. 152, no. 604. Petrie notes: “A very popular tune of the King’s County.”
