French tunes often turn up in English traditional music sessions, and this one’s no exception. It was composed by Frédéric Paris.
As it doesn’t resolve on its keynote, it might be good to follow it with another tune.

Submitted in the "reel" category - but it’s really more of a schottische.
As such, schottisches, being related, tend to gather more under the ‘barndance’ category, rather than reels ~ wherever they might hale from in Europe ~ North, South, East, or West… And, if you add ‘schottische’ into the alternate title list it will show up with others in a search:
