Rochester Schottische

There are at least three tunes known by the title "Rochester Schottische." One of them (AKA the Bluebird Schottische) has already been posted in the tune section of session.org:

https://thesession.org/tunes/3482

This one though - notwithstanding the "schottische" in the title - is a reel. It’s a regular favourite at our monthly old-timey session in Bristol (UK).

The way we play it roughly corresponds with the version played by David Bragger & Co in this YouTube clip:

Rochester Schottische

This is a transcription of much of the variations and demonstrations as shown in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdWMikGub9M ,"Old time Fiddle Lesson—Rochester Schottische" by David Bragger on The Old-Time Tiki parlour channel.

I particularly like the rhythm the pushes in the B part give, but I still included the climbing ladder from the previous posting in the fourth measure of the B part.

I play this on my melodica and am new to the ABC Notation, so be sure to let me know of any egregious inaccuracies, syntactical, or omissions.

@skylos: the figure "2" (the second-time-through bar marker at the end of the B part) is on the wrong side a the square bracket. You have: 2[ . Should be: [2 .

If you’re new to ABC, it’s quite easy to go wrong! A handy tip is to click the "midi" button immediately after posting a tune. Your ears will often spot errors that your eyes failed to notice!

Be aware though, that not all errors will be picked up by listening to the midi: for example, missing (or misplaced) bar lines.
