The Beara Minstrel

A John Dwyer tune that I learned from Caoimhín Ó Fearghail. It’s on John Dwyer’s album The Dursey Sound.

The Beara Minstrel, X:2

A more readable version of the above, with a few minor changes after John Dwyer’s recording on The Dursey Sound + the playing of Caoimhín & Seán Ó Fearghail during the 2020 John Dwyer Celebration concert (the video is available on youtube).

Re: The Beara Minstrel

Here is the John Dwyer festival video mentioned above.
It contains a wealth of great tunes -- most composed by John Dwyer -- and a wealth of great performances.
It’s not exceptionally long, and it is well worth watching. I especially like Edel Fox and Neil Byrne at the end, but it is all good.
