There are 2 recordings of this tune.
Silvermines has been added to 4 tunebooks.
I heard this tune here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcHvezdzEHY played in Fmin. Transposed for better convenience on the flute ! I made multi tunepal researches, varying the modes without success. On their album, Colm Gannon, Jesse Smith, Jon Blake named it Silvermines, which is another name for Hare’s Paw.
I originally posted this tune under the Gan Ainm title as none of the researches I made with tunepal were crowned with success (using the 1st 4bars of the A and then B parts directly pasted in the ABC frame in the Windows interface). I checked too for "Sivermines" (https://thesession.org/tunes/1462), and while browsing roughly through the 7 settings (!) already there and decided finally that the present tune was not "Silvermines". Which is debattable and IMHO is a close relative that deserves its own entry.
As in their album, the 3 musicians above mentionned gave it the Silvermines, who am I to ignore that. So, this is the reason why I will adopt this name which will be of more use than under the nebulous Gan Ainm appellation.
