Och Is Duine Truagh Mi

Translates as ‘Alas I am a forlorn man’. A tune from the great Glenuig piper Allan MacDonald. Allan tells me the tune was made popular by the late singer, Angus MacLeod of Scalpay. A great example of a West Coast Scottish reel.

Re: Och Is Duine Truagh Mi

I should point out that this is, of course, a traditional tune and not one of Allan’s compositions.

Och Is Duine Truagh Mi, X:2

M take on this lovely tune.
