From Jackie Daly & Seamus Creagh, Gael Linn Records, 1977.
You might like to try rolling those long notes in the repeat of the 2nd part as a variation, although they do sound very effective just drawn out.
"Quinn’s", as played by Padraig O’Keeffe (track #1 on "The Sliabh Luachra Fiddle Master - Padraig O’Keeffe) seems to be one and the same tune.
o’Keeffe’s setting seems to closer to this:
|:D2FA BAF2|d2cd BEE2|D2FA BAFA|dBAF EDD2:|
|d2fd d2fd|g2fg eBBA|d2fd d2fd|faeg fdd2|
|d2fd d2fd|g2fg eBBA|g2fe dedB|ABAG FAd2|
or close to it.
1st part sounds like one of these ‘marching reels’…
X3 : Quinn’s
