This is a lovely jig supposedly composed by Mike Kass of Cavan Town. I remember hearing it on one of the Fleadh TV Programs and loving it, and I happened upon it on facebook and started noodling my way through it. Always nice to have a few F tunes to keep errant whistlers in check.

The Beach, X:2

This is broadly the version that’s quite popular among the teens and twenty somethings in our local sessions here in counties Monaghan and Louth. Played in G and the second part is a bit different to version 1 as well. Thanks to my teenage son for the tune.
