Well, I found this tune again and I still like it. I plan to learn it for the Christmas holidays coming soon.

A question for the musicologists. What kind of mode is this tune? Is there a name? I see it is listed as G minor; if so, where do all the F-sharps come from and why no F-naturals to be found? Or is it just G Aeolian sharped 7th, or some such? It is a haunting sound, for sure.

G minor with a raised 7th means G harmonic minor, but it’s not available as a option when posting tunes. Gm is still close enough.
