This tune was written by Kevin Rumery. Kevin is a singer, songwriter, bouzouki player, and guitar player in the Denver, Colorado area. He wrote this tune many years ago after he had moved away from Colorado for a job, and was feeling a bit homesick. One night, he had a dream that he was back at the Boulder session, and there was a player that played this tune - so in his dream, he cornered the player and made him teach the tune. When he woke up, he wrote the tune down. So this really did come from his dream!
Kevin and I recorded this on my album, Giotár (https://thesession.org/recordings/5520), along with a version of “Richie Dwyer’s” and Paidi Ban O’Broin’s tune “Poor But Happy at 53”
A lovely tune with a great story behind it.
