Re: Dorothy Leurs

Composed by the Wick fiddler Addie Harper, and named after Dorothy Leurs, an integral part of the RSCDS in Edinburgh during the 1970s. It was recorded by the Wick Scottish Dance Band in 1979, and is slightly different from the notated version above. It might be worth posting it for comparison.

Dorothy Leurs, X:2

As played by The Wick Scottish Dance Band on "Away Up North" (1976). Played in a set with "Billy McMorran’s Crook" (also by Addie Harper) and "The Tenpenny Bit".
