Away To Chincoteague

Tune written by Jim Stevenson-Mathews, and used in the Scottish Country Dance, Abbot of Unreason.

Chincoteague is a small island off the coast of Virginia (USA), famous for it’s wild ponies, and is a holiday destination.

I love minor jigs, and this one flows nicely with a bit of syncopation.
