7x8 Alexis D

Composed by Stolen Notes piper Alejo Parra. Second and fourth bar in both parts are composed in 9/8 (2+2+3+2), so the whole third part can be played like binary or (4/4) because combination of 9 and 7 is 16/8.

Re: The Happy Ruinous House

Wow thanks for this!! I love the tune and it is very nice to have it here with all the explanations!

The Happy Ruinous House, X:2

I added this setting, but as you can see, the sound is exactly the same as the setting X:1. It is just that I transcribed the tune as a reel.

The thing is that there is quite a lot of syncopation in this tune. Interesting way of looking at the syncopation in the setting X:1.

I love this tune!!

Re: The Happy Ruinous House

I see in the setting X:2 that I did it shows the numbers 9/8 in the time signature but it should show 4/4. The website is not allowing me doing it. The rest is correct. The midi file is good as well.
