Paddy O’Brien’s
No, this is not one of the other 10 listed Paddy O’Brien’s. Personally, I think it’s one of the best, and it sits so well on the box that it’s hard not to be drawn to play it. This setting is from boxplayer Tommy Sheridan from Boston.
Re: Paddy O’Brien’s
It is nice, Thady! What makes the tune for me are those C naturals; they give it an interesting flavor.
Re: Paddy O’Brien’s
This was composed by Sean Ryan the fiddler from Nenagh, County Tipperary.
Re: Paddy O’Brien’s
This tune does not correspond to the tune that John Regan plays on “The Slopes of Benbulben” CD which is actually “The Nervous Man” reel composed by Paddy O’Brien.
