“Brúigh Isteach Liom, A Shiobháinín” ~ Polka
This was transcribed listening to two different sources, box & tenor banjo, Timmy McCarthy & William Hammond playing a set of polkas.
X: 2 “Brúigh Isteach Liom, A Shiobháinín”
S: "Ceol Rince na hÉireann, Volume 4", Breandan Breathnach, page 41, tune #77
Breandan sourced this one from a manuscript by a David Collins, County Limerick, second half of the 19th Century…
This is another melody that is ‘very’ familiar, and possibly one that had lyrics to it as well? Despite not being able to connect those dots, not yet anyway, I’ve added it here with the hopes that maybe someone else can make additional connections?
