The Rose Without Rue

An air found in Edward Bunting’s ‘Ancient music of Ireland’ (1840), and subsequently in O‘Neill’s ’Music of Ireland‘ (1903). This setting is transcribed from the harp playing of William Jackson from his 1987 album ’Heart Music‘ and is nearer to Bunting’s arrangement than O’Neill’s.
