From "Treoir" magazine - #4 - 1973. This may well be here under a different name, maybe even as a slide, as it has that feel about it. Various "abc" searches didn’t turn anything up, so here it is , as transcribed in 1973. I’m sure I’ve heard this played recently on some flute recording from somewhere, but can’t for the life of me think where. Any help gratefully appreciated.
I last heard this from Morga’s most recent album;
Thanks for that - I’d heard it as a slide played by Ciaran Somers on his CD with Nicolas Quemener. He had it from Marcas O’Mhurchu, who got it "2nd hand" from Packie Russell, so back to where we started from.
Should probably be transferred as another setting of "The Chicken That Made The Soup", as identified by "BrownAle Mugger" above.
