Not sure if this is a proper jig. Started off as a song.
I’m looking forward to hearing where you got the tune, Susan.
Edited just now. Must confess to this tune being mine. Any feedback as to whether it works/does not work as a
jig would be welcome. If it really does not, I can no doubt remove the tune!
"Oh where is my ticket, old woman, oh where?
Lost in her pocket or handbag.
Rummage and sniff it out, try it again,
See how earth spins around, hell wot a pain.
Early next morning more such fun -
She will find it lurking cleverly,
The dearly wanted one."
I wrote this tune and it’s one of my best. Deserves a listen anyway!
In order to make jig a bit more of an "Irish jig" , I have put a repeat sign after part 1. This means that if anyone (by a sublime chance) wanted to sing song (words here) repeat to be omitted.
