The Woodstove

The full name of this hornpipe is “The Stove at Full Throttle.” It was composed by the wonderful fiddler, Jamie Gans. We play it often at the session in The Runcible Spoon (Bloomington, Indiana).

Thanks for posting this tune Norman. I did compose the tune on a crisp January day a handful or more years ago when our primary furnace, our wood stove, was at full throttle, so-to-speak.
