Reel 97

This tune is from “Tunes From the Goodman Manuscripts” from Mick O’Brien, Emer Mayock, and Aoife Ní Bhriain. I don’t have the books yet because because they’re a bit pricey so I don’t know how much interpretation they did. Considering the project I’m guessing they tried to stay pretty true to the original melody. At any rate, I think this simple tune has a wonderful charm and was worth sharing.

The more I hear from Mick O’Brien the more I like him.
