Looking for the name (and hopefully the composer) of this tune. I learned it a number of years ago from Richard Wood, a PEI fiddler. He didn’t remember the name or the composer at the time, but thought it was a Cape Breton or Scottish tune. I can’t find it in any Scottish collections or my (limited) CB collections. Since Cape Breton has a lot of Irish influence as well, I’m now wondering if this could perhaps be an Irish tune. Does any one know anything about this? Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!
There’s at least some resemblance to "Paddy On The Turnpike" https://thesession.org/tunes/338
