The Zipper

The Zipper is a tune featured on the the Kitchen Jam Band’s album - Cook’n Up A Storm(track listing is already on thesession database). I don’t have any information on who composed this tune, so if anyone has that nugget of info please add it here. It has a similar feel to the Glass Island Reel which it follows on the record.

Re: The Zipper

The Zipper was composed by James Shultz, and he named it after his sister’s trip on a carnival ride. It is a traditional favourite here at Carp Camp at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. Our tunebook has a different setting and I’ll post it here too. 🙂
