“Duke” Of Mountcollins

This jig comes from boxplayer and fiddler Eamon Flynn of Mountcollins, Co. Limerick. Eamon played with the likes of Paddy Cronin, Brendan Tonra, Larry Reynolds, and Tommy Sheridan while in Boston before moving to Vermont, USA to influence another generation of musicians. I believe the inspiration for this tune is Eamon’s cat.
